SelectUSA Investment Summit

The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the highest profile event in the facilitating business investments to the United States for international companies considering expanding to the U.S. 

Going strong for over a decade, it’s serves as an inclusive entry point that creates a matrix of U.S. based companies, economic development organizations (EDOs), and industry experts. In 2023, the Investment Summit saw record-breaking numbers with more than 4,900 participants.

The SelectUSA Investment Summit has had many iterations. Arriving, in 2017, the SelectUSA Investment Summit was still in its early stages as an annual event.
As designer imperative to observe the state of affairs and how participants on all levels engaged with each other.

Similar to SelectUSA, it was important to create brand standards and define the event.
Design assessments are important for evolving a brand developing a centric view of how to strategize brand awareness, establish consistency and cohesion.
From year to year the goal was to CREATE EXCITEMENT FOR PARTICIPANTS from the promotion to everything signage.

For best practices, when promoting during off season it is recommended that the logo without a date be used.

Summit By the Numbers

Shortly after the annual SelectUSA Investment Summit, SelectUSA will announce participant data collected during the main event. Usually there would be a press release distributed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and SelectUSA.

Being a communicator, I purposed an additional way to distributed this information and coined the phrase Summit By The Numbers in 2018.
